Follow a creator
Follow sits on every creator's profile, under the video player next to the creator's name and in the profile card that opens when you click a name. One click and you follow; click Following again (it turns into Unfollow) to stop. Creators show how many followers they have under their handle. You need to be logged in, and only creators can be followed.
What you hear about
When a creator you follow …
| … | you get |
|---|---|
| goes live | "Name is live" – the link opens their profile with the stream |
| publishes a video | "New video from Name" with the video's title |
| publishes an article | "New article from Name" with the article's title |
The notes land in the bell at the top (live while you are on the site). Scheduled videos and articles count when they go online. Only public things count – unlisted and private videos stay quiet. To keep the bell calm you get at most one live note and one note per kind of upload per creator every 30 minutes: if a creator publishes ten videos at once, you get one note.
Push notifications on your phone or computer
Under Settings → Creators you follow switch on Push notifications on this device – your browser asks once for permission. From then on the same notes also arrive as a push, even when BoozedBunny is closed. They stay discreet on a lock screen: only who ("Name is live", "New video from Name"), never a title, a tag or a picture. Send a test checks that it works; switch it off on the device the same way. Each device (browser) is switched on separately.
iPhone and iPad: push works for BoozedBunny as a Home Screen app – in Safari tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, open the app from there and switch push on in its settings.
Creators you follow
Settings → Creators you follow lists everyone you follow – who is live right now and how long you've been following – with Unfollow next to each name. Nobody else sees whom you follow; creators only see the number.
Feeds – following without an account
Every creator has an Atom feed (works in any RSS/Atom reader) with their 20
newest public videos and articles: /b/<handle>/feed – e.g.
boozedbunny.com/b/smokeandshots/feed. Feed readers find it on the profile by
themselves. /feed/live lists the creators who are live right now. Feeds
need no login; paid videos are listed without a picture, private and unlisted
ones not at all, and geoblocking applies
like on the profile.
