Geoblocking
Creators can hide their profile and everything they publish in selected countries. How it works for creators and what visitors see.
Last updated
Under Settings → Account & Privacy → Geoblocking a creator picks the countries in which their content should not be available. The block covers:
- the profile page, videos (pages, playback, lists, sidebar, shorts), images, articles, board posts, comments and playlists,
- search results and recommendations.
Visitors from a blocked country get a not available in your region message or simply don't see the content in lists. The country is derived from the IP address of the request; the creator themselves always sees their own content, regardless of where they log in from.
Geoblocking is a visibility tool, not a legal guarantee – VPN users can circumvent it like on any other site.
