For creators: taking calls

In your stream dashboard, tab Calls:

  • Available for calls – switch it on when you want to take calls: until you switch it off, or for 1, 2 or 4 hours.
  • Price per minute – in SOL (0.01–10) or fixed in USD (0.50–500, paid in SOL at the rate of the moment the call is requested).
  • First block – 5, 10 or 15 minutes, paid when the call starts. After that the call is paid 5 minutes at a time.

While you are available, your profile and your profile card show Video call · /min. A fan's request pops up bottom right with their name – Accept or Decline within 60 seconds. You get a notification for calls you missed.

You earn per minute like for every sale: the platform fee and – if you were invited – the agent share come out of it (see Pricing & fees). Each block shows up in Sales as Call with …, N min (see Sales & payouts).

For fans: calling a creator

Press Video call on the creator's profile. Before anything is paid you see the terms:

  • the price per minute,
  • the first block (e.g. 10 minutes), paid from your balance when the call starts,
  • then 5 minutes at a time as long as the call runs – the last started block counts in full.

Calls need an account that is at least a day old and a first purchase or tip on BoozedBunny, and enough balance for the first block. If your balance runs low, you get Top up to continue a minute before your paid time ends; without a top up the call ends when the paid time is over. Calls you paid for are listed in Orders.

In the call

The call window sits bottom right like the chat window; Full screen makes it fill the screen (on a phone it always does). It shows the time since the call started and the paid time left, and has buttons to mute your microphone, switch your camera off, switch between front and back camera (phones) and end the call. Either side can end the call at any time.

  • One window: a call runs in one browser window at a time. Open the site in another window and it says the call is open elsewhere – Continue here moves it over.
  • Watermark: the fan's handle moves across the creator's picture on the fan's screen. Calls are not recorded by us – and no website can stop a screen recording, but the handle makes a recording traceable.
  • Report or block: the ⋮ menu in the call has Report … (a note for our team) and Block … and end the call – a blocked member can't call or write to you any more (see Ignoring members). Creators also don't get calls from members they banned from their stream chat.

Good to know

  • You need a camera and a microphone, and the browser asks for permission once.
  • The connection goes directly between both devices where possible, otherwise through our relay server – the picture never passes through anything that stores it.
  • One call at a time on both sides.
